I was talking to Alank the other week and thought it might be an idea to meet up for a few drinks sometime soon.

Not sure if a Friday is any use to people with works nigths out etc etc but will give this a try and we can change it 17 or 18 times from that.

11th December?

Once we get a date we can try and sort out a venue (also if we want food or just DRINK)

OK - lets firm it up and say the 11th then.

Anyone want to go for a meal first or straight to pub?

Either way a 7pm meet time?

I'm still not sure if I can make that day but if I can then I'm definitely
up for food! If you're booking a restaurant then let me know and I'll give
you a definite answer

This should suit me fine. There's a minor chance I'll be in that London then, but it's unlikely.

If I'm here, I'll be in town from 5 anyway.

I cant meet up until about 7:30pm that night so if anyone wants food they can sort it out amongst themselves for before that.

What if we meet at the Wetherspoons in the Omni - looks like a 5pm start with a few people coming along a bit later.

I would be interested in coming along.

Would I have to be there for 5 if I wanted food?

I guess the other option is for the people to meet at five just go to the pub, then we could all go for food (or just sit at the table drinking for the ones that dont want food) at one of the many food places in the Omni once me, Dwayne and any of the other after 5pm starters turn up?

That'd be the case for me too. I think I had not quite gotten what the plan was when I looked at the thread.

I'm in!

(Been out of the loop - changed email address, thought I'd told Yahoo, but it doesn't seem to have realised, so I've logged on manually.)

Cheers

Mark

Any idea how long you folks will be out for? I'm having to go down to that London all day, but might be out later for a couple if anyone is still there.

Expect a text at about 9ish if I'm on my way into town.

It's now looking uncertain whether I'll be able to make it this Friday. Sad
